Summer Camp
Every summer, we offer week-long camps to any incoming 7th-12th graders, regardless of which high school you attend or plan to attend. The summer camp will be run by DP Mock Trial coaches and experienced DPMT alumni, in conjunction with members of the varsity team. Campers will improve their public-speaking skills, learn how high school Mock Trial works, how to analyze a case, how to develop a witness's character, what the DP Mock Trial coaches will be looking for when tryouts for the team are held, and more. By the end of the week-long session, students will have a full trial prepared based on an actual high school mock trial case and will perform for any parents who would like to watch.
This summer 2024, we are planning on offering three summer camp sessions! The dates for these sessions are June 17-21, July 15-19, and August 5-9 and they run from 5:30-8:30 each night. Each session we will be using a different case, so you may sign up for multiple sessions if you'd like! Additionally, scholarships are available and can be requested by emailing DosPueblosMT@gmail.com.
